Menggiurkan, Chef Wan Kongsi Pelbagai Juadah Berbuka Puasa

Setiap kali melihat Instagram milik chef nombor satu Malaysia, Chef Wan, pasti air liur mula merembes.

Silap haribulan boleh meleleh keluar. Betul-betul menguji keimanan terutamanya dalam bulan Ramadan ini.

Apa tidaknya, Chef Wan sering memuat naik video masakannya yang begitu menggiurkan. Daripada masakan Maghribi hinggalah ke masakan tradisional Melayu, semuanya kelihatan lazat.

Rupa-rupanya chef popular ini telah dijemput oleh Hotel Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur untuk menyediakan juadah berbuka puasa bermula 3 hingga 11 Jun ini.

Kalau dilihat masakan yang disediakan oleh Chef Wan yang turut dibantu oleh chef-chef yang lain, memang tidak dinafikan ia boleh membuatkan kita terliur.

This recipe Ayam kuah kacang is a favorite dish from the late Tengku Ampuan of Selangor. Its part of the sajian istana Selangor for all sort of majlis istana. I have improved the flavour by adding belimbing buluh. As the sauce is rich with peanut, spicy and aromatic with lemongrass and langkuas the sourness from the Belimbing buluh really make the dish taste good. Its all about balancing the flavour. I was told by the Executive Chef that many days esp on weekend we are almost full house and there 3 nights this week where some Corporate Co are entertaining at various private banquet rooms from 200 hundreds each rooms to 300 hundreds guests in another room! With the Mosaic restaurant and lobby lounge filling up to almost 500 capacity we will end up probably feeding close to a 1000 each night for buka puasa by the look of it all. Pengsan…..

Siapa yang pernah merasai air tangan Chef Wan, pasti tidak akan melepaskan peluang tersebut. Malah video juadah berbuka yang dimuat naik oleh Chef Wan bukan sekadar untuk santapan mata tetapi penuh dengan ilmu berkenaan juadah yang dibuat.

Bila dah masak beratus ratus ramai nya saya main campak2 aja tak ada recipe yg di ikut melain kan tahu what sort of ingredients that goes in this dish. Yg lebih tu kita tawakal aja to use our very own instint as a chef with good tsste bud or palate mau pun experiences. Tu orang sibuk nak recipe..nak recipe how to measure banyak2 ni nak bagi. Yg asyik minta recipe pun bukan nak usaha cari buku masak kita asyik minta recipe mcm la kita ada masa nak spent time to type all this for them. Nak terkencing pun at times kita menahan ni kerana sibuk and within a minute or two kuah Jenganan nak siap boleh ambil masa tu type all this in the kitchen for all of u. Sampai Chef Rene Executive chef of the MO asked me semlm that its amazing how he watch me buat kerja and yet update all this daily on my own depan periuk dan kuali lagi. Katanya lagi ” I dont know how u can do it…its amazing watching u work and coordinating your work at the same time and teaching the chefs too”. Alhamdulilah mana yg saya rasa boleh buat saya buat lah.
